Welcome to


Hi, I'm Catharine Hannay, founder of and author of Being You: A Girl's Guide to Mindfulness, a workbook for teen girls on mindfulness and self-acceptance. 

 From 2012-2021, I ran the Mindful Teachers blog, writing about my own experiences with mindfulness and education, and curating content from a wide range of sources, including interviews and guest posts from experts on teaching mindfulness to adults and kids.

I'm no longer posting new content, but I'm keeping this site available as a library of resources on
