Noticing the Five Senses: A Daily Mindfulness Log

published December 7, 2014

The more frantic our lives get, the more important it is to take quick breaks throughout the day to calm down and clear our heads. Focusing on the five senses can help shift our focus away from our worries. It can also help us develop awareness of and gratitude for the world around us and the small everyday blessings we might otherwise take for granted.

This daily mindfulness log can be used by either adults or kids, for individual practice or as homework in a mindfulness class.

Update 12/10/19: Here's the link to a printable Five Senses Mindfulness Chart.

Important Note About Downloads: This is a printable worksheet, not a fill-in-able pdf. If you'd like to have your students fill it in and send it to you, the worksheet needs to be downloaded as 'Format: Open Office XML.'
